About IPDC

The IPDC is an international debate competition and will involve delegates from all over the world, including the Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Regions. The online event is an exciting opportunity for young people to compete and meet with peers from around the world at a time where physical interactions are limited.

The tournament features three categories: Upper Primary (10-12), Lower Secondary (13-15) & Upper Secondary (16-18), with two leagues in each category, novelist and open. Everyone – whether a beginner or an experienced debater – is welcome to participate!

Format: Modified American Parliamentary Debate. Motions will be announced on the day of competition.
